Christian Lynch, age 26, allegedly kidnapped the woman at Wollaston Station in Quincy around 7 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12 while she was walking to work.

Lynch allegedly duct-taped the woman’s mouth, hands and feet and started sexually abusing her in his car, Boston25 said citing an MBTA Transit Police investigative report.

The woman, believed to be in her 60s, was then repeatedly strangled and sexually assaulted at Lynch’s apartment on East Elm Avenue for several hours, the outlet continued.

The woman was later “released” at the Lowe’s parking lot at Brockton’s Westgate Mall around 6 p.m., the outlet reports citing the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office. She was eventually found and brought to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the kidnapping began when the woman’s roommate learned that she did not arrive at work, WHDH reports. The roommate retraced the woman’s steps and found her hat in Wollaston's parking lot, the outlet continued.

The roommate then flagged down police who used surveillance footage to identify Lynch’s vehicle. He was arrested at a convenience store near his home later in the day, the outlet continued.

During his arrest, Lynch reportedly told police that he was “tired of swiping” on dating apps and this was him “going out into the world [and] getting a date,” Boston25 reports.

Lynch also allegedly tried kidnapping another woman at the same station 20 minutes earlier, the outlet continued. That woman was able to fight him off. Both women were reportedly of Asian descent, the outlet said citing Lynch’s criminal complaint.

Lynch pleaded not guilty to several charges including rape, kidnapping, strangulation and assault and battery on a person aged 60 or older on Monday. He is being held without bail awaiting a dangerousness hearing later this month.
